A San Diego High School Gym Became the Set of a Sexually Charged 24 Hour Livestream

A public high school in California rented out its facilities to an adult content platform, but claims it wasn’t aware of the inappropriate, public production that followed.

A California public high school gym in San Diego was used as the set for a sexually charged, 24-hour livestream sponsored by Fansly, a competitor of the porn platform OnlyFans. It happened while students were locked out of their own campus facility. Adult content models strutted across the same floor where teenagers normally play basketball, volleyball, and have school pep rallies. Contestants acted out explicit scenes under bright production lights with the Canyon Crest Academy Raven school mascot visible behind them.

This happened inside one of the top ranked high schools in California, and nobody in authority stopped it.

The livestream, titled “24 Hour Tag Presented by Fansly,” was filmed by popular Twitch streamer PaymoneyWubby. During the broadcast, viewers watched grown men participate in game show-style punishments that included simulated sexual scenarios, a mock crucifixion, pantyhose wrapped “blow” competitions, and leg waxing. At one point, contestants wore sashes with labels that included “botched penis,” “privately racist,” and “pedophile”.

At one point, a contestant was strapped into a sling, identified on the livestream as a “sex swing,” and lowered over a mattress while an adult content model helped operate the ropes.

Another segment showed a contestant licking chocolate off the feet of two women wearing Fansly shirts. Women in fishnets and short skirts entered the gym repeatedly throughout the night.

The principal at Canyon Crest Academy, Brett Killeen released this statement to outraged parents:

Dear Raven Families,

We are aware of a recent production filmed on our campus this weekend by an external company that is inappropriate, distasteful, and in conflict with our organization’s core values.

The production was in violation of the standards set forth by the District and CCA Foundation in the Use of Facilities License Agreement.

We are working with our District to engage legal counsel to examine our options to hold the parties involved accountable.

The District is also in the process of updating its Facilities Use policy to strengthen District and Foundation oversight and supervision of any third parties holding events on District property.

Thank you,

Brett Killeen, Principal

An Instagram user who appears to be a student at the school reported that she asked the principal directly what was being filmed inside the gym and was told he had no idea.

Principal Brett Killeen stated in the email to parents that the filming did not occur during school hours. However, roughly nine and a half hours into the livestream, participants could be heard speculating that someone connected to the production or possibly a student was outside the gym doors.

“There’s more people knocking at the doors,” one of the men stated.

“I think they’re children,” another could be heard adding.

Despite Killeen’s alleged insistence that he wasn’t aware of the graphic and inappropriate nature of the production, the fact is these scenes unfolded in a gym filled with Canyon Crest branding of the high school. The school’s raven mascot stood on full display behind the contestants. Other clips showed the school weight room being used as a backstage area with the campus logo printed on chairs.

Notably, the rental of the school’s facility was approved not by the school district but by the Canyon Crest Academy Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit that operates separately from the district and is allowed to rent out facilities and keep the revenue. Foundation leaders said the production company described the show as PG-13 and did not disclose the nature of the content. They have since apologized for what they called an oversight failure and have hired legal counsel.

According to district rules, rental agreements require submitting details about intended use of facilities to a principal or designated administrator. Violations include profane language, fighting, gambling, and the use of intoxicants or narcotics. The district has not publicly explained how a production sponsored by an adult content platform made it through a process designed to prevent misuse.

An attorney for the streamer insists there was no breach of contract and says Fansly’s involvement was fully disclosed. District officials disagree and say the content broadcast from the gym speaks for itself.

Meanwhile, students are left stunned that something so brazen took place on their campus.

The scandal hits at a moment when the San Dieguito Union High School District was already weighing stronger oversight for all four of its high school foundations. Last year, an audit of the foundations found weak financial controls, inaccurate reporting, and missing records. That audit was sparked by a student whistleblower investigation uncovering questionable foundation practices.

One of those former students is Liam Tian. Tian was part of the student team that made national news for exposing problems inside the Canyon Crest Academy Foundation last year. Liam contacted IW Features Sunday evening when word began spreading on campus about the livestream. Tian said, “I am very outraged and upset that this was allowed to happen in a high school.”

Students like Tian are now calling for accountability and for limits on outside rentals. And parents are asking how a full production crew with six Fansly models could be allowed into a public school gym while students were turned away.

The gym has reopened. The livestream has amassed more than 887,000 views. The foundation has apologized. The district is considering lawsuits. But for the families of Canyon Crest Academy the shock has not faded. Their top ranked public high school became the set of a sexually provocative livestream designed to drive traffic to an adult content platform. Administrators did not catch it. Students did.

And now the community wants to know how a California public school gym became a stage for something that never should have entered the building in the first place.
